Corporate Affiliations company content is now enhanced to include “shell” companies in company hierarchies.

Corporate Affiliations family tree research has always identified “shell” companies as part of the core process of building and maintaining company family trees.  They have never been displayed as part of a company hierarchy since the focus has been on actual operational company entities.   Due to customer demand, they will now be displayed at the bottom of their immediate parent’s branch within hierarchies and identified with the symbol X (where applicable).

What are shell companies?

Shell companies are legal, non-operating entities – also known as “paper” companies.  Since shells are non-operating, they will not have company profiles.
