Content Inclusion Criteria
U.S. Public Companies
The Corporate Affiliations public companies database contains listings for all major publicly traded companies with U.S. located headquarters traded on one of the three major U.S. exchanges: NYSE, NASDAQ and NYSEAMEX. Also included are significant companies traded on smaller U.S. exchanges. Investment funds or companies with letter series stocks are not listed in the database.
Subsidiaries for these publicly traded companies are included, whether or not they are located in the United States. There is no database revenue qualifier attached to a subsidiary company. Also included are outside service firms attached to the parent companies. These are firms that perform specialized services such as accounting, legal, pension management etc.
We offer approximately 6,000+ U.S. public parent companies and 37,000 subsidiaries.
U.S. Private Companies
Corporate Affiliations lists privately held companies with U.S.-located headquarters or holding companies. Generally, U.S. based private companies must demonstrate revenue in excess of $1 million or greater, 300 employees or substantial assets to be included.
Subsidiaries for these parent companies are included. Also included are outside service firms attached to the parent companies. These are firms that perform specialized services such as accounting, legal, or pension management, etc.
We offer approximately 673,000 U.S. private parent companies and 25,000 subsidiaries.
International
When an ultimate parent company is located outside the United States, it is included in the international database. These would include both public and private companies. Included are the parent companies and their subsidiaries, no matter where the subsidiaries are located. International companies listed generally have revenues of US$10 million or greater, in excess of 300 employee totals or substantial assets/net worth.
We offer approximately over 22,000 international parents with nearly 87,000 related subsidiaries.
